LSM Earns Five Diamond Certification
The “diamond standard” is something that all companies strive for. STAAR Alert’s monitoring center, Life Safety Monitoring, took their goals a step further. Earlier this year, the center earned TMA Five Diamond Certification.
The TMA Five Diamond program is granted annually to centers across the country for satisfying the requirements of the five points of excellence:
Commitment to random inspections and quality criteria standards by a nationally recognized testing laboratory such as FM Approvals, Intertek/ETL and UL.
Commitment to the highest levels of customer service.
Commitment to ongoing job-related education and testing by having 100% of its central station operators certified using the TMA online training series.
Commitment to raising the industry standards through TMA membership and participation in its activities.
Commitment to reducing false dispatches.
In other words, Life Safety Monitoring is committed to providing the highest quality service possible. The team worked tirelessly to ensure the certification was achieved and continue to ensure it will be awarded year after year.
Life Safety Monitoring is the home of the trained responders that react to calls from personal emergency response systems, medication monitoring and other related offerings from STAAR Alert.
When calls and alerts are received at Life Safety Monitoring, the responders work to determine the severity of the situation by speaking to the user (if possible), then reach out to emergency responders and family caregivers to ensure their health and safety.
Earning Five Diamond Certification helps you and your family know that you are choosing a provider that is committed to excellence. As of April, there are only 150 centers across the country that have earned this designation.
